VICTIM ADVOCATE

With over seven years of involvement with GARF, I bring a multifaceted perspective shaped by lived experience, volunteer service, and my current role as a proud victim advocate. My journey began as a survivor seeking support and has evolved into a calling—one that fuels my commitment to advocacy, healing, and empowerment for others navigating similar paths.

I hold degrees in both Human Services and Psychology and continue to expand my education to better serve individuals and communities. My approach is deeply client-centered, rooted in empathy, resilience, and a belief that every person deserves to feel seen, heard, and valued.

Whether welcoming someone into a support group or leading an expressive arts session, I strive to create spaces that blend structure with soul. You might be greeted by a curated playlist that sets the tone for warmth and connection or find yourself immersed in a creative process that feels a little chaotic—but always intentional. In art groups and beyond, I use unconventional methods to foster emotional safety, encourage self-expression, and build trust.

My goal is simple yet profound: to walk alongside others in their healing journey, offering tools, compassion, and a sense of belonging. I believe that advocacy is not just about solutions—it’s about creating environments where transformation can take root.
