For more than twenty years, my career in public service has centered on advocating for those whose voices are too often unheard. I’m eager to contribute my legal background and advocacy skills to help strengthen G.A.R.F.’s work in our community.

The majority of my career focused on prosecuting domestic violence, child abuse, sexual assault, human trafficking, and exploitation. My work required close collaboration with victim advocates and service providers, and I prioritized trauma‑informed practices both in my own cases and in training attorneys and law enforcement across multiple jurisdictions.

After transitioning from federal prosecution to civil practice with Lubnau Law, I knew I wanted to continue serving my community in a meaningful way. G.A.R.F.’s mission aligns deeply with my values and professional experience, and I’m honored to support an organization that provides safety, advocacy, and hope for survivors.

Outside of work and G.A.R.F., I enjoy watching hockey, playing roller derby and spending time with my husband - Johnny Mercer who teaches at Thunder Basin School.
