Alicia

Volunteer Coordinator/Advocate Coordinator

Seven years ago, I started my career with G.A.R.F. During this time, I have dedicated myself to helping survivors reach their goals and live a life free from abuse. I have trained many volunteers to work with victims of domestic violence and sexual assault effectively and compassionately. I am committed to empowering those whose lives have been impacted by trauma, and to reduce the stigma associated with abuse.

My educational background consists of a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a specialization in Christian counseling and criminal justice degree with a specialization in criminal psychology I also earned a master’s degree in forensic psychology. I have also volunteered for organizations such as the Campbell County Prevention Council and sat on the state board for the National Alliance on Mental Illness.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, learning about history, listening to music, and learning the German language.
