Shelter Case Manager
I started my career journey in Utah in a local domestic violence shelter; I worked there for three years as a Case Manager. I am now with G.A.R.F in their shelter, where I’ve worked for the last year, supporting and advocating for survivors of abuse. My work is deeply meaningful to me because I’ve been in their shoes. Having gone through my own experience with domestic violence, I understand how critical it is to have someone who truly listens, cares, and understands what they’re going through. Being able to give back and walk alongside others as they begin to heal and rebuild their lives is something I’m incredibly passionate about.
Outside of my work, I’m currently studying history-a subject I’ve loved since I was a child. I believe that learning from the past helps us make sense of the present and build stronger communities. In my free time, I enjoy reading, writing and spending time with my family. My journey has shaped who I am today; resilient, empathetic, and committed to helping others find hope and strength in their own stories.
